Wrist Cuffs were originally designed to protect thecowpuncher's wrists from the hazards of roping cattle in rough country. While there are still a few buckaroos out there who use them for that purpose, most of us cowpokes today just wear 'em cuz they look so good. Cuffs can be made plain, with border stamp, nickel and/or brass spots, pigskin lined, and multi-colored.
